We’re back... With a few minor adjustments.

It seems that the relaxing of restrictions throughout NSW will allow for many weddings and events where we'd be providing our photo booth services to move forward. YAY!

We are now taking bookings for 2022 as we anticipate we will be able to run our booths with minimal restrictions in place. However, some minor changes are necessary in order to keep everybody safe. Our booths will be running as normal except for the following modifications:

The wellbeing of staff and customers:

-Staff and customers will be asked to stay home if feeling unwell.

-Staff will be provided with information and training on COVID-19, including when to get tested, physical distancing, wearing masks and cleaning.

-The photo booth attendant is to be fully vaccinated

-The person organising the wedding or event will be responsible for signing guests in and out of the venue.

Physical Distancing:

- One person per photo unless you are from the same household, same table or close contact. The photo booth attendant will not be responsible for getting guests to adhere to social distancing requirements as the photo booth attendant does not know who is a part of who’s household or who is close contact. We will have a sign placed near the photo booth or Mirror-Air photo booth to remind guests to adhere to social distancing and we assume that they will respect those requirements.  Those from the same household or close contact are not required to physical distance as per NSW Health Guidelines.

-There will be clear entry and exit signs marked to avoid crowding.

-For our open-air photo booth and Mirror-Air photo booth, queue management will be done my marking spots on the floor 1.5m apart to help people adhere to social distancing requirements where possible.

Hygiene and Cleaning:

-Hand sanitiser will be provided and setup on or near the props table, guest book and photo booth.

-The photo booth screen and all props will be sanitised regularly throughout the event.

-All photo booth equipment will be cleaned and sanitised thoroughly before and after each event.

-Guests are to use the hand sanitiser prided before using the photo booth, guest book pens and props.

-Email and MMS features will be disabled on all booths to reduce the amount guests touch the screen. All photos will be sent to the hirer the day after the event via an online album. The online album can then be sent to all guests.

Government regulations and restrictions can be unpredictable. This means that if laws and regulations have changed by the time your event date rolls around, then our procedures may have changed by then.

Whether your event is in a venue or private residence, we are committed to following state government restrictions.

Please take care and stay safe. We hope to hear from you all soon!

We thought we'd put together a quick blog post for those who are thinking about hiring out our #Hashtag Printer explaining the process of customising your print out. You basically have 3 options:

1. We can design your print out and logo for you. More information here

2. You can design your own print out and logo. More information here.

3. You can use one of our logo templates. More information here.

Our 6 by 4 #Hashtag prints are fully customisable. You can choose to have a unique logo design with any background you want or just keep things simple. Each print design is unique.

Keep in mind that you don’t HAVE to customise your print out, they still look great with no logo and a plain background.

Wondering what all the hype around having an Open Air photo booth at your wedding is all about? We have compiled 6 brilliant reasons stating why hiring a photo booth will be one of the best decisions you will make regarding your special day.

1, Modern photo booths add class to your wedding or event.

Photo booths have come a long way in recent years. They don’t have to be tacky like the old, black box booths you remember from your childhood. The right photo booth is visually beautiful and will add an element of class to your big event. Check out Playhard Photo Booth’s open air booth for a great example of a visually stunning booth.

2, Nostalgia.

A photo booth means that you and your guests have a lasting keepsake that will remind you of your special day for years to come. Imagine pulling the photo of you and your loved one out from your wallet in 30 years time. A photo that has captured the fun, silly side of your relationship.

3, Entertain your guests.

An open air photo booth helps your guests let loose, laugh, be silly and make memories. It’s a fantastic icebreaker that is sure to get your guests talking.

4, Wedding favour.

Why give your guests a personalised box of tic tacs when you could give them a mini portrait of themselves and their friends that they can share on social media and keep for years to come. They can keep a copy, and you can have one too.

5, High Quality Photos.

Open air photo booths today come equip with a DSLR camera, modern software, a touch screen and studio lighting designed to be flattering and of high quality. The print paper is of great quality too, meaning your photos will still be intact for years to come.

6, More people can fit in the booth.

Playhard Photo booth's Open air photo booth can fit upwards of 12 people in the shot! Even more if your guests get creative. The extra space allows for the occasional sneaky photo bomb too :P
